Kuwait, 28 February 2023- Kuwait International Bank (KIB) concluded its platinum sponsorship of the Ninth Atyab Al Marshoud International Show-Jumping Championship, which was recently held at the Kuwait Equestrian Center in Sabhan, with the participation of elite riders representing all local clubs. KIB’s sponsorship of the championship came within its pioneering program in the field of social responsibility and an affirmation of the Bank's eagerness to embrace Kuwaiti sports talents and support local events and tournaments.

In her speech marking the end of the sponsorship, Assistant Manager - Marketing Department and Corporate Communication Unit at KIB, Marwa Maarafi, said: “We are pleased to congratulate all the jockeys and riders who participated in this tournament for their high-level performance. We are also pleased to extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to Atyab Al Marshoud Company for organizing this event, which sheds light on one of the most important inherited sports in our Arab world, and reflects the passion of our youth and their interest in equestrian sport”. 

Marafi also praised the audience's interaction with KIB employees, through the booth with which the Bank participated in the tournament. KIB aimed at raising awareness and introducing the audience to the comprehensive banking and financing services and products it provides, which are designed to meet the needs and requirements of all segments of society. This comes within the framework of the Bank's support for the “Let’s Be Aware», campaign dedicated to raising awareness around a group of important aspects in the field of financial culture and bank customers protection.
