Spanish fashion brand Massimo Dutti hosted an evening filled with fashion and style at its boutique in The Avenues Mall in Kuwait. Held on the 26th of January, the exclusive event featured styling sessions by renowned stylist Maya Obeid who brought her profound knowledge of patterns, cuts and styles to the city. The event was attended by select media and guests. One of the highlights was that a few lucky winners got the opportunity to be styled by Maya herself and also win the outfits from the boutique that were put together for them.
As the new season dawns, Massimo Dutti writes a new chapter, interweaving many different stories for Spring/Summer 2017. New collections emerge from inspirations that take shape in designs embodying the essence of the brand and its panoramic vision of the upcoming season.
The brand welcomes the new season with new versions of full suits, blazers, jackets, shirts, polo shirts and an endless range of must-have items that can be matched with opposing styles. Functional, modern looks that achieve a strong harmony between innovation and timeless luxury. Accessories are also set for spring, stepping up to transform the masculine look, turning dailywear into something extraordinarily comfortable. The new season’s fashion travels far afield in search of natural and exotic references that express themselves in fresh fabrics – such as cotton and linen – and colour schemes in neutral tones that are broken up with vibrant hues, such as blues that are taken into their most electric notes.
The collection is inspired in a vanguard version of the urban gentleman, displaying a fascinating combination of modernity and current trends with the classic flair and marked elegance of a post-modern
dandy. New cuts in trousers and blazers, reinterpreted silhouettes in suits, and revamped volumes with an eye on comfort flirt elegantly with pieces that represent a more relaxed style and the savoir-faire that characterizes the brand.
