Kuwait, 1 February 2023: Burgan Bank recently announced its sponsorship of the Kuwait Crown Prince Cup final match for the 2022/2023 season, held under the patronage of the Crown Prince, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and organized by the Kuwait Football Association (KFA). The much-anticipated final match will be held between Al Arabi and Al Salmiya on February 6, 2023, at the Jaber Al-Ahmad International stadium.
This sponsorship comes as part of Burgan Bank’s proactive and comprehensive social responsibility program, which aims at creating a wave of positive change throughout Kuwait. This is achieved in part through the Bank’s devoted efforts to the growth and flourishing of the Kuwaiti sports culture, as well as through supporting national talents in sports and other fields.
Since its inception in 1994, the Kuwait Crown Prince Cup has marked a staple annual football tournament, which continues to be regarded as one of the top national football events, following the National League and the Kuwait Emir Cup.
