‘Mixology by Perrier’ presents Laurent Greco, one of the most famous mixologist in the world

Kuwait, 18 March 2015 – Raad Trading & Marketing Co. (Saud Abdulaziz Al Babtain & Brothers Group of Companies), the exclusive distributor of Perrier, the world-renowned carbonated water brand from France, has taken the art and craft of mixology a step further. In a special event, Perrier presented new and innovative cocktails created by Laurent Greco, one the most famous mixologist in the world, at the fountain area of the Marina Crescent in Kuwait.

With an impressive list of VIP’s in attendance, including His Excellency Christian Nakhlé, the French Ambassador to Kuwait, as well as Ahmed Abdulaziz Al Babtain, Vice President, Greco mesmerized the audience throughout the whole-day event. He skillfully and expertly mixed an array of exciting and original combination of flavors and textures that were made even more special and perfect with the use of Perrier.

Also in attendance Hani Merhi, Chief Executive Officer of Abdul Aziz S. All Babtain & Sons Group of Companies, who delivered a short message; Lina Hatoum, Marketing Manager of Raad Trading & Marketing Co. and Brand Manager of Perrier; and Djamal Touaibi, Business Development Manager for Middle East & Africa at Nestle Waters M&D Perrier & Vittel.

The exclusive and refreshing event was organized by Venacava plus Kuwait. 

“People in Kuwait have special taste in water and drinks in general. Perrier have been a favorite water for many since we introduced it in Kuwait in year 1967. We believe it’s time to turn it to a favorite drink and water at the same time while playing with different mixes showcased by Greco” said Ahmed Abdulaziz Al Babtain, Vice President “We strive to give customers the best possible experience with every product we introduce and this event is an example”. 

For over five years, Greco has worked with Perrier in the development of drinks and mixology programs for the brand. Backed by over 20 years of extensive experience in the bar business, Greco has travelled all over the globe and received numerous awards in high-class cocktail competitions around the world.

Nowadays, Greco devotes his time as publisher of CocktailZone magazine, a high-end French magazine dedicated to cocktails, and as owner of the concept bar Mojito Lab in Paris. Armed with a strong passion for bartending, Greco also organizes flair competitions – both the French national championship and the World Flair Championship. Incidentally, he also owns FlyBottle, the company that produces practice flair bottles used by bartenders.
